She stole the show at the Emmys on Monday night, with fans and celebrities alike describing her two-minute monologue as the highlight of the ceremony.

So it’s hardly surprising Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby spent her trip to Los Angeles mingling with her famous fans – including the likes of Sandra Oh, Sophia Bush and Meredith Salenger.

The 40-year-old funnywoman, who gained international recognition earlier this year with her Netflix special Nanette, shared an Instagram photo of herself on Tuesday with Grey’s Anatomy star Sandra, 47, in the parking lot of LA’s Microsoft Theatre.

In the caption, Hannah cheekily referenced the Twitter campaign for her to host next year’s Emmys, while also alluding to her deliberately awkward stage persona.

‘In a parking lot with Sandra Oh pitching our services as hosts for the leaving early awards,’ she wrote.

The rising star was also photographed rubbing shoulders with One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush at the pre-Emmys Gala on Sunday night.

The 36-year-old actress took to Instagram to reflect on her encounter with the comedian, who is currently hot property in the US.

‘On Sunday night I had the supreme joy of looking to my left and seeing Hannah Gadsby right there! In the same room! I had to tell her what Nanette meant to me,’ Sophia wrote.

‘This woman’s Netflix special is a revelation. And a revolution. Hannah, thank you for being so gracious to each of us who had gratitude to share.’

Sophia also claimed that actor Kevin Bacon had ‘fan-boyed’ over Hannah earlier in the evening.

‘I’m glad we’re no longer even one degree of Kevin Bacon apart. And I’m sorry for standing behind Kevin Bacon like a total creep so that I could fangirl you the moment he was done fanboying you. You’re a gem,’ she added.

At the same event, Hannah was seen socialising with other celebrities, including actress Meredith Salenger and her comedian husband, Patton Oswalt.

Earlier on Saturday, Hannah posed for photos with Jodie Foster at Netflix’s annual Emmy Awards soiree.

Jodie, 55, looked elegant in a round-neck black frock, featuring a contrasting plaid and floral print.

The American actress also styled her shoulder-length hair straight and loosely, and sported a minimal makeup palette.

Hannah received widespread praise for her Netflix stand-up special Nanette when it premiered earlier this year.

The comedy routine delved into issues of sexism and homophobia, and the performer’s personal experience of prejudice.

Hannah hails from Tasmania, an island to the south of the Australian mainland.
