Harry Kane signs long-term deal with boot brand Skechers ahead of Bundesliga debut as the footwear giant branches into football
Harry Kane will be wearing Skechers boots this season following his £100million move to Bayern Munich.
Kane is a large point of focus in the men’s football world right now following his move, and he’ll now be donning new boots as he makes a new start in his football career.
The forward made his debut for his new side on Sunday as Bayern lost 3-0 to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup, coming off the bench late on and unable to help his side.
But manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that the England captain will start his side’s Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen on Friday night as anticipation grows.
And he’ll be wearing Skechers for the game, announcing the partnership in a social media post on Thursday.

‘So happy to join the Skechers Football family,’ Kane posted, accompanied by a video of him training in the boots. ‘Love the comfort and feel of the boots and there’s loads more to come in this partnership.’
Kane can also be heard speaking over the video, saying: ‘The most important thing for me is to keep improving. It’s all about the hours you spent perfecting your craft.
‘It took hard work, self-belief, determination to get to the top, You need to sacrifice, you need to push yourself again and again, it’s all in the detail.
‘The relentless pursuit of greatness. Be yourself, do what’s right for you. That’s what I’ve done my whole career. And that’s what I’m doing now.’
Kane is the centre of Skechers’ first European football boot launch, with the SKX_01 to launch in the UK and Europe in September.
The England forward will also be featured as a brand ambassador for the company after signing a long-term deal.
Kane is set to make his league debut for his new side against Werder Bremen on Friday
Skechers decided to enter the football market after enjoying success in other sports including golf and athletics.
Via Footwear News, Skechers president Michael Greenberg said the company worked closely with Kane to perfect its boots.
He said: ‘Harry had the entire football world following his every move over the last few weeks and his determination, skill, and leadership align perfectly with our plans for the sport.
‘He already feels like part of the Skechers family. This first boot is just the beginning with more innovative Skechers Football boots featuring our signature comfort and performance technologies on the way.’
