Harvey Weinstein sex trafficking accuser on TV interview

The actress who has accused Harvey Weinstein of violating a federal sex trafficking statute in a lawsuit filed in US District Court sat down for her first television interview on Tuesday.

Kadian Noble told CBS This Morning that she can still remember many of the details from the day back in 2014 when she claims Weinstein groped her and then took her hand so that she was forced to pleasure him while trapping her in his hotel room at Le Majestic in the South of France.

‘I still can hear the rattle from his belt, like him undoing his belt while he had grip of me,’ said Noble.

‘It seemed like it went on forever and he basically took, just completely touched me inappropriately and got me to put — force my hand in places.’

One thing Noble was not able to remember however was the exact date of the attack, telling CBS that she was assaulted in May 2014 during the Cannes Film Festival despite her initial filing stating the alleged incident occurred ‘in or around February 2014.’

When asked about the discrepancy, Noble’s lawyer Jeff Herman told DailyMail.com that the error was in the complaint.

Weinstein has denied all allegations of sexual assault.

Noble, 30, first gained attention when she was a contestant on Britain’s Next Top Model back in 2010.

The Jamaican-born single mother is now pursuing an acting career.

‘Harvey was a legend. He was someone that I thought was going to make my dream a reality,’ said Noble during the interview.

She then began to tear up as she spoke about how this alleged assault derailed her life.

‘I’m not the same person, you know. I’ve had to have counseling. Just so much. But I’ve had to keep it to myself. I’ve kept it to myself,’ explained Noble.

Noble did not say much else during the interview, and deferred to her lawyer on more serious matters such as why Bob Weistein and The Weinstein Company are being named as co-defendants in the case.

‘Harvey wasn’t acting alone. Harvey wasn’t allowed and enabled to do what he did to Kadian and other women without help,’ said Herman.

And by filing the suit under a sex trafficking statute, Noble will also have 10 years to file a civil suit against Weinstein should she wish.

The actress posted a number of photos on her Instagram page from the Cannes Film Festival back in 2014, including one on May 18 with ‘#majestic,’ suggesting she was at the hotel that day.

Her Instagram account also shows that she attended Weinstein’s annual BAFTA party in 2015, with Noble posting photos and a video two months after the event in April of that year.

On both photos and the video Noble wrote ‘#HarveyWeinstein.’

Noble claims that Weinstein lured her to his room at Le Majestic Hotel with the promise of a film role and then began to grope her breasts and buttocks.

When she tired to leave, Weinstein trapped her in the bathroom and forced her to masturbate him to completion claims Noble in her complaint

She is now demanding a jury trial and unspecified damages in the suit, which also names Harvey’s brother Bob and The Weinstein Company as co-defendants.

Noble claims that she had been in contact with Weinstein about a role prior to the hotel room incident and dropped off a reel of her acting work at his London office.

The complaint states that when the two both found themselves in France soon after, Weinstein ‘asked Kadian to come to his hotel room to review her reel with her and discuss further steps in securing the role he had previously targeted for her.’

Weinstein then began watching Noble’s reel according to the court filing while massaging the plaintiff’s shoulders.

‘He informed her that she needed to relax, and if she did, his people would have all of her details and would “take care of everything” for her,’ reads the complaint.

Noble was also made to get on the phone with a person she was told was an executive she claims, with that man instructing her to be ‘a good girl and do whatever he wished.’

If she did that, Noble claims she was told ‘they would work’ together in the future.

At that point, Weinstein ‘pulled Kadian closer and groped her breasts’ according to the suit, despite the plaintiff’s protests.

He then ‘forcibly pulled Kadian into the bathroom, told her ‘to relax while he gripped her firmly’ and ‘started to rub Kadian’s breast and buttocks’ states the complaint.

Weinstein ‘blocked her exit’ next according to court papers and ‘pulled down Kadian’s shirt, revealing her breasts, and unbuckled his pants and belt.’

Noble tried to stop Weinstein’s advances but to no avail she claims, as the executive ‘forced his leg between Kadian’s legs, began rubbing her vagina, and then took his penis out and began masturbating.’

He then allegedly took Noble’s hands and used it to pleasure himself until completion.

After that, Noble claims she was allowed to leave and told by Weinstein that his people would be in touch with her about the role.

The suit argues that based on these events, Weinstein was in violation of sex trafficking laws.

‘Harvey Weinstein traveled in foreign commerce, knowingly recruiting or enticing Kadian, offering her something of value, knowing that he would use this offer as a means to defraud, force or coerce her into a sexual encounter,’ reads the complaint.

‘Harvey Weinstein ultimately forced Kadian into sexual acts.’

The complaint then lays out its reasons for naming The Weinstein Company and Bob Weinstein as co-defendants.

‘Upon information and belief, the code word among TWC employees “FOH”, meant “Friend of Harvey”, and referred to a young woman who had participated in sex in exchange for a role or position in an upcoming project,’ states the court filing.

‘TWC employees knew to “take care” of the FOH’s.’

Bob meanwhile is said to have ‘been privy to multiple claims in which such acts and conduct were alleged against Harvey Weinstein, prior to February, 2014’ in the complaint.

‘Despite such knowledge, Bob Weinstein, as an executive of TWC, continued to pay for and facilitate these foreign trips for Harvey Weinstein.’
