A foodie has sent thousands drooling over her unusual McDonald’s breakfast hack.
Bec Hardgrave made a bacon and egg sandwich replacing the bread with hash browns then covered it in sweet syrup.
The fitness and health coach called her ‘unreal’ creation a ‘bacon and egg McHash brown’ and had her followers rushing to try the hack for themselves.
‘Last night I had a dream I went to McDonald’s and got a bacon and egg McHash brown so that’s what we’re going to do,’ Bec said.
‘Basically you get two hash browns, one for the base, a bacon and egg McMuffin without the English muffin and here’s where we get a little bit wild – hotcake syrup.’

Bec poured a generous amount of syrup over the bacon, egg and cheese then topped with the second hash brown to make a sandwich.
‘It is a little bit messy, I will give it that,’ she said before tasting to see if the hash brown sandwich ‘lived up to her dreams’.
‘Is it healthy and would I recommend this be in your diet? No. Is it absolutely worth trying though? Hell yes.’
Bec shared the breakfast tip in a online video which was viewed almost 160,000 times and had thousands of mouths watering.
‘Game changer. I know what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow,’ one viewer said.
‘Is it healthy and would I recommend this be in your diet? No. Is it absolutely worth trying though? Hell yes,’ Bec said after sampling her ‘wild’ creation
‘Order the egg and bacon separate as individual items, it will save you a few dollars,’ a second recommended.
‘I have been dipping my hash browns and McMuffins in my hotcake syrup for years! It’s so bloody good!’ another wrote.
‘Never thought to do a hashy with hot cake syrup but now I need to!’ someone added.
Some pointed out Bec’s sandwich was a great gluten free alternative to the bacon and egg McMuffin while others were concerned about how much the syrup spilled.
‘This is what I do cause I’m gluten free! (minus the syrup although I would try that) It’s great for a hangover,’ one woman replied.
‘The mess in the car. The syrup is just everywhere,’ laughed another.
