Health coach reveals how she makes a popular Grill’d burger at home using supermarket ingredients – and the result is less than HALF the calories

A health coach has revealed how to make a low calorie version of the popular Grill’d ‘Summer Sunset’ burger using ingredients from Woolworths.

Bec Hardgrave, from Brisbane, revealed that the original Grill’d burger is over 1,200 calories but her healthy ‘fakeaway’ recipe recreates the menu item for only 463 calories. 

To begin, Bec first creates a meatball from 90 grams of beef mince and flattens it out in a hot pan to form a burger patty.

Finally she smears avocado to the pineapple layer and lathers on 10 grams of Parsley, Dill & Tarragon Sauce to the top burger slice, closes it up and enjoys.

To accompany the popular burger recreation Bec has also shared her healthy recipe for famous Grill’d chips and insists they ‘taste exactly the same’.

The 25-year-old made the fries using Woolworths’ Macro Organic frozen straight cut chips, rosemary, oregano, thyme and flaky salt.

To make the fries, she baked them at 180 for 15 minutes, or until they are ‘crispy, golden and glorious’.

Meanwhile, she created the herb blend by mixing the ingredients together. Once the fries are ready, she simply sprinkled the herb mix over the top.

‘Did you know that the Grill’d famous chips for a regular is over 550 calories?’ Bec said in her now-viral TikTok video.

‘These are absolutely unreal and so quick and super easy to make. Yum. This whole serve was just 146 calories.’

Bec said the Woolworths’ frozen chips had the lowest calories and contained minimal ingredients.

‘Sometimes I can’t be bothered cutting up potato so I decided to find the frozen version… and these were it,’ she said. 

Her video has since been viewed more than 130,000 times.
