The Greek Orthodox Church was holding a prayer service called a Trisagion, held the night before a funeral for the deceased person the next morning.

Police begged the thief to return the casket and make ‘at least make one good’ decision after the vehicle was stolen from the church parking lot.

The stolen body was not associated with the service, but was in a mortuary vehicle that happened to be stopping by the church at the same time of the theft, officials said.

the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a tweet: ‘Out of all the bad decisions you have made, at least make one good one & bring back the deceased person & casket inside the Navigator.’
