Heartwarming moment a pet owner is reunited with Pudge the kelpie after he is miraculously found in dense bushland FOUR DAYS after he plunged from a cliff

A Kelpie named Pudge who plunged from a cliff and became ensnared in blackberry bushes for four days has been reunited with his owner. 

Pudge, five, was bushwalking with his owner on Monday at 6.15pm at Cleland conservation park near Adelaide when he ran off to chase a kangaroo and fell.

His owner frantically searched for hours each day with no luck.

It wasn’t until a bushwalker heard yelping coming from the bushes on Thursday at 11.30am that the pooch was found having survived for four days without food and water.

Armed with gardening tools, Country Fire Service volunteers cut Pudge free from the thorny bushes.

‘He was sitting in the scrub underneath all the blackberries – he was stuck,’ a CES worker told 7 News.

The dog's owner was overjoyed to see the dog and said he'd be treated to a big steak

His owner was overjoyed and said she’d treat the dog to a ‘big steak and a couple of snacks’.

‘He’s still got so much energy,’ she said. 

She also said they would keep going for walks in the area because he loves them so much, but vowed to keep a closer eye on him.
