A 15-year-old singer stunned America’s Got Talent’s judges on Tuesday night’s episode with a sensational rendition of Demi Lovato’s Warrior.
Makayla Phillips, from Canyon Lake, took to the stage during the final round of auditions, wowing judges Heidi Klum, 45, Howie Mandel, 62, Simon Cowell, 58, and Mel B, 43.
Heidi, in particular, was so taken with Makayla’s performance and her persona that she ended up pushing the Golden Buzzer, awarding the teen the highest honor a candidate can receive at this stage of the competition.

Makayla, who came accompanied by her parents, her brother, and other relatives, told Mel before she sang that she is still in school.
She then promptly launched into her performance, earning impressed looks from all four judges as soon as she started singing.
The teenager showed off her impressive vocals as she delivered the pop tune, hitting every high note.
She effortlessly sang the emotional tune, and by the time she was done, earned a standing ovation from the crowd.
While all four judges seemed to love Makayla’s performance, Heidi couldn’t get over the teenager’s talent and got up from her seat to clap for her.

The model heaped praises on the singer, adding: ‘I love you. I think you are absolutely incredible.
‘I mean, I love the whole package. I love your smile, I love how you project to everyone. Your voice is incredible.’
Heidi then got up from her seat, excitedly asking Makayla: ‘You know what I’m going to do for you?’
She then pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending the young singer straight to the live shows.

Simon showered the girl in praise too, telling her: ‘You’ve got amazing presence, great confidence. This is what the show’s all about. Good for you.’
Makayla will defend her spot in the competition during the live shows.
She is now one step closer to becoming the winner of the talent show and bagging its $1,000,000 cash prize.
