Helen suffered a wardrobe blunder on Sunday’s Strictly Come Dancing semi-final when her heel got caught on her dress.

She was able to laugh off the slight mishap when her stiletto ripped the hem of her midnight blue sequinned gown.

Speaking to the former Blue Peter star and her professional partner afterwards, Tess Daley asked: ‘Is your dress okay? I know it got caught a little in your heel?’

The hem of Helen’s glittering gown was frayed at the edges with a second accidental split up the back.

Well done! The duo went on to score 37 from the judges, as they were awarded a nine from Craig, 10 from Motsi and an eight from Shirley, while Anton awarded them 10
