Hell House LLC leaves horror fans forced ‘to sleep with the light on’

‘The only horror movie to genuinely terrify me’: Film fans forced ‘to sleep with the light on’ after watching Hell House LLC

Horror fans have been left traumatised after watching Hell House LLC.

The found footage movie is set five years after an unexplained malfunction causes the death of 15 tour-goers and staff on the opening night of a Halloween haunted house tour.

A documentary crew then travel to the scene of the tragedy to find out what really happened, with terrifying results.

Although Hell House LLC was originally released in 2015, it’s just been added to Amazon Prime, allowing a new audience to experience it.

Some viewers had instant regret, however, taking to Twitter to share their upset.

‘The only horror movie to genuinely terrify me’: Film fans have been forced ‘to sleep with the light on’ after watching Hell House LLC

They penned:  ‘Watching Hell house LLC, Literally s***ing my pants’; ‘Hell house LLC is a masterpiece’; ‘I watched hell house llc over a year ago and still get freaked out walking around at night when it’s dark in my own place’;

‘have you ever seen hell house llc? I’m not a fan of horror movies but I’ve seen that one several times and I had to sleep with the lights on after the first time’; ‘Hell house LLC. Probably the only horror movie that genuinely terrified me’

‘Hell House LLC still remains one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of scary movies’; ‘ #HellHouseLLC is amazing!! There are very few found footage films that do it well…this one does it flawlessly! I cannot recommend the series enough!

‘Best found footage horror film I’ve ever seen. #HellHouseLLC’; ‘#hellhousellc still makes me feel creeped out walking around my own dark hallway at night. Afraid I will see “the” clown outside my door, or some random girl sitting in the corner. Glad I don’t have a basement!’

The movie currently has a 75 percent critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 72 percent audience score and has spawned two sequels.

Horror House LLC has been compared to slasher film Terrifier 2, which left viewers so disturbed that people were reportedly throwing up, passing out and leaving movie theaters.

The sequel’s plot sees Art The Clown return after his resurrection.

This time he fixates on terrorizing a teen girl and her little brother as he goes on a butchering spree on Halloween night.

And like its predecessor, which went viral for one particularly horrifying death scene involving somebody being sawn in half in a brutal fashion, Terrifier 2 didn’t shy away from its infamous gore.

‘Just saw Terrifier 2. It was an amazing gory mess. The guy behind me passed out cold n crashed into my chair, another guy left because he didn’t feel good, I overheard him say and walking out theatre door I heard a guy puking hard & loud in the bathroom,’ another added.

Following its US release, one of its producers Steve Barton tweeted a warning: ‘This movie contains scenes of graphic violence and brutal depictions of horror.

‘Viewers who are faint of heart, prone to light-headedness or have weak stomachs are advised to take extreme caution.

‘There have already been numerous instances of fainting and vomiting in theaters. For those choosing to continue, you’ve been warned.’
