Hells Angels and King Cobra bikie gangs brawl in Auckland hospital

Rival bikie gangs in Auckland have created chaos across the city after brawling in the streets before committing a violent assault in hospital. 

Police are looking for three men, all with links to the Hells Angels gang, after a violent brawl erupted on Auckland’s gentleman’s strip before ending in the violent assault of a security guard in hospital.

The fight initially broke out at between members of the Hells Angels and rival bikie gang the King Cobras at 3:20am on Gore Street, which is known for its strip clubs, stuff reported.

Several gang members from both groups were injured during the fight and were taken to Auckland City Hospital. 

There the fight broke out again in the accident and emergency ward. 

A hospital security guard who tried to break up the brawling gang members was violently assaulted in the process.  

A 27-year-old man was arrested for breaching bail because of the brawl.

Police are looking for  27-year-old Anthony Chown, 28-year-old Murray Matthews and 30-year-old Mua Fa’Anunu in relation to the assault. 

They have said that the three men all have links to the bikie gang and are considered dangerous.

All of them have warrants out for arrest for assault with intent to injure.   

Following the assault the hospital upped the security over the weekend but is now back to normal.

In an unrelated incident police also arrested and charged four King Cobra members after finding firearms and drugs in the vehicle they were riding in. 

‘Police have zero tolerance for this kind of behaviour and will continue to actively search for all parties involved,’ Detective Senior Sergeant Nina Pedersen said.

Police are urging  anyone with information on the trios whereabouts to call 111 immediately.
