Robert Jenner, 43, a self-proclaimed naturist has been jailed for two years for wearing see-through trousers in public
exposed himself in a bid to ‘shock and provoke’ has been jailed.
Robert Jenner claimed he was just a naturist but police said he flashed customers in custom-made clothing while he was delivering parcels, in a park, shops and at a supermarket.
The 44-year-old, of Snodland, was handed a two-year prison sentence at Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday after being found guilty of 10 counts of indecent exposure during a trial, Kent Police said.
Between 7 and 13 December 2017, while working as a parcel delivery driver in Maidstone, he approached customers while wearing clothing which left him ‘deliberately exposed’.
Jenner was spotted exposing himself on ‘repeated occasions’ including when wearing crotchless trousers in a supermarket, ‘see-through tights’ in shops and ‘see-through shorts’ in a park frequented by families.
PC Robert Fagg said: ‘Jenner claimed he was simply a naturist and would argue there was nothing wrong with his behaviour.
‘The reality is that he manipulated and altered clothing to deliberately expose himself.

Dressed in a smart black suit, the former soldier had told a jury at Canterbury Crown Court that he was a “naturist” who was promoting his beliefs
But the judge told him that he was in reality ‘an exhibitionist who revels in upsetting people’
‘When working as a delivery driver he would ensure he was exposed whilst asking customers to sign for parcels.
‘His intention to shock and provoke has also been repeatedly demonstrated in a supermarket as well as locations where there would have been children.
‘Jenner’s actions have ultimately caused fear, distress and anxiety to a number of victims and a he is now paying the price with a custodial sentence.’
Jenner was added to the sex offenders’ register for 10 years and made subject to a criminal behaviour order for seven years.
A jury failed to reach a verdict on an 11th charge.
