Dramatic footage shows the moment a heroic nun fights off a drunken man rampaging through a church garden.
CCTV shows a topless thug run into the grounds of St Elisabeth Convent in Kaliningrad, western Russia, and start taunting one of the nuns.
A second, also wearing a habit, quickly spots the man’s antics and rushes to intervene and helps grapple the man off her.
The thug can be seen struggling with three nuns on the convent steps before he breaks free and begins rampaging through the building.
He can be seen in the CCTV throwing what appears to be a white placard out of the convent at a passerby who is trying to help.
As the passerby tries to grab him, he lunges at him and tries to kick out and throw punches. But he is eventually wrestled to the floor.

The man can be seen being led away in handcuffs by a police officer and the man who tackled him.
It is not clear whether the nuns set upon by the thug suffered any injuries in the scuffle.
