A dog competing in a pool jumping competition may have made it into the water, but he won’t be winning any points for his technique.
The pooch was competing in Dock Dogs in Australia, the world’s premier canine aquatics competition, when he pulled off the epic tumble.
He took a big run up, alongside another canine competitor, but ended up slipping at the very end.
It causes him to flip over and crash land towards the water.
He can be seen flying in the air with his paws spread out before he makes a huge splash in the water.
Ultimately the dog ends up crash landing in the pool on his back after losing his balance.
The other dog has a successful jump as he can be seen landing on all four paws next to the other.
Dock jumping is a canine sport in which dogs compete in jumping for distance or height from a dock into a body of water.
