This man just tried ice skating for the very time – and the result was nothing short of hilarious.
Jermaine Thompson had prayed he would be able to skate successfully before he stepped onto the rink in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday.
But that clearly wasn’t the case.
An amused stranger managed to record his first skating attempt and the video has now gone viral with more than 2.3 million views on Facebook.

Sherrell Colbert Ross caught sight of Thompson when she was taking a break from skating herself.
Ross immediately started filming as Thompson slowly and unsteadily inched across the ice.
‘I was visiting the ice skating arena to enjoy some holiday time with family and friends,’ Ross told DailyMail.com.
‘While taking a break from the ice, I couldn’t help but notice a man that seemed to be having extreme difficulty with the ice skating task, and his coordination was quite awkward!
‘My family, friends and I paused to watch… it was hilarious.’
Ross uploaded the video on Facebook asking if anyone knew who the ice skater was.
It quickly went viral and someone who recognized the man identified him as Thompson, who lives in Williston, Florida.

She immediately started recording and the video, which she uploaded to Facebook, has now gone viral with more than 2.3 million views on Facebook
Ross, who can be heard laughing throughout the video, uploaded the footage to Facebook asking if anyone knew who the struggling ice skater was
‘Once he saw the video he shared it on Facebook. We became friends on Facebook and have talked everyday since,’ Ross said.
Thompson had been visiting Atlanta with a friend when they headed to the rink.
He had been posting on Facebook earlier during the day saying he was about to try skating and ‘Lord please let me be able to do this’.
Soon after he left the ice, Thompson quickly posted: ‘I will never ever do it again. There’s no way u can actually skate on those blades.’
The viral video is still being shared on social media – much to the delight of both Thompson and Ross.
‘I think that most people can relate to spontaneous moments like this that are genuinely funny and can be enjoyed by the entire family,’ Ross said.
‘This is why I feel that this video has been able to touch so many and has entertained so many homes.’
