Hilary Duff sports chic blue mini dress with billowing sleeves ahead of How I Met Your Father debut

She stars as a single New Yorker looking for love in the upcoming How I Met Your Father sitcom.

And Hilary Duff radiated beauty while promoting the new Hulu show from the comfort of her own home as she shared a few shots to Instagram on Thursday morning.

The 34-year-old actress rocked a gorgeous blue-and-pink minidress while striking a pose in her living room ahead of the premiere of her latest show.

‘This whole thang to sit in a chair from 9-7 yesterday doing press,’ she joked. ‘But those shoes and that gloss lid were sass.’

Hilary’s beautiful, retro-inspired number featured billowing sleeves with a wrapped waist and a high hem.

She added inches to her petite frame with a pair of towering heels which featured a white leather strap around her ankle.

Makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan Fisher let Hilary’s flawless complexion take center-stage and added a glossy lid to match a pink lip.

The former Disney Channel star will be starring in the show alongside Suraj Sharma, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran and Chris Lowell.

The spin-off will have the same framing device as the original How I Met Your Mother, with the children being told about the way their parents got together.

While the flashbacks will be set in 2022, the program will feature an older version of Hilary’s character played by Kim Cattrall. 

How I Met Your Mother was a smash hit network sitcom that ran for nine seasons on CBS before airing its finale in 2014.

Bob Saget played the older version of the leading man, Ted Mosby, whose younger version was portrayed by Josh Radnor.

Other members of the main cast included Cobie Smulders, Jason Segel, Neil Patrick Harris, Cristin Milioti and Alyson Hannigan.

How I Met Your Father debuts on Hulu on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
