‘The other members of the technical staff – Danny Blind, Henk Fraser and Frans Hoek – will take over the duties until his return.’

Van Gaal said he had a cold on Monday but said it ‘didn’t mean’ that he had coronavirus
It’s not certain whether or not Van Gaal will be back in time for their clash with Denmark at the Johan Cryuff Arena on Saturday.
If he doesn’t recover in time for that game, then it’s hoped he will return to the dugout for their clash with Germany in Amsterdam three days later.
Van Gaal spoke about coronavirus on Monday, insisting that players who want to go to this winter’s World Cup in Qatar will have to be vaccinated.
As per RTL news, he said: ‘Players who want to go to the World Cup will have to be vaccinated if there is a new variant.
‘Now I don’t have to ask them that, because everyone has been vaccinated or has already had it and has recovered from it.
‘Moreover, not everything is correct. more related to corona at the moment. I have a cold now, you hear that. But that does not immediately mean that there is corona.’
The Netherlands have already qualified for this year’s World Cup after finishing top of their group
Holland have already qualified for the 2022 World Cup, having finished top of their group ahead of Turkey and Norway.
As previously reported, Van Gaal also hit out at the World Cup being staged in Qatar.
He said: ‘Everyone knows that I think it’s ridiculous that the World Cup is there.
‘That we are going to play in a country to allow football to develop there? That’s bulls***. It is about money and commercial interests. That matters in FIFA.
‘Why do you think I’m not on a committee with my expertise? I’ve always opposed those kinds of organisations.
‘It is not right. I can say that in Qatar, but that [my opposition] doesn’t help the world get rid of this problem.’
