The mother of four went on to say how happy her three other children are now that their new sibling has arrived. ‘Stella June, Lillie Mae and Arlo are absolutely, deliriously in love with her along with @colemantime and myself.’

The country singer shares her four children – a son Arlo Gale, five, and daughters Lillie Mae Louise, six, and Stella June, eight – with husband Chris Coleman, 42, who is also her frequent songwriting partner.

‘She is a dream come true,’ gushed the Sometimes singer, ‘and she brings the most beautiful light and tenderness with her in the room wherever she goes. From the hospital to our home, she has filled these spaces up with deep awe and joy. I’m eternally grateful, and can’t wait to share more of her precious moments.’

The acclaimed singer-songwriter confirmed in a separate Instagram post that she gave birth while on a family road trip to Fairhope, Alabama – one of Holly’s ‘favorite spots’ – with her mother, Becky Williams, and her two daughters, Stella June and Lillie Mae.

After enjoying ‘classic Fairhope things’ like ‘strolling the dreamy shops, drooling over the oak trees and historic homes,’ and drinking virgin piña coladas, Williams suddenly experienced ‘hysterical pain’ and was rushed to the nearest hospital. Holly went on to share that she delivered Georgia Grace through a rushed C-section.

The Three Days in Bed singer, who tragically lost her sister Katherine Williams-Dunning to a car accident in 2020, wrote on Instagram about the emotional moment that she shared with her doctor at the hospital. Holly described how she ‘broke down crying’ after the doctor rushed in and said, ‘I’ve been praying for your family almost everyday since y’all lost Katie.’

Holly’s family suffered another tragic loss this year when her stepmother, Mary Jane Thomas, 58, died after undergoing cosmetic surgery. And the fatal car crash of 2020 was not the first accident that Holly and her family have endured. In March 2006, the Without Jesus Here with Me singer was injured in a car crash with her other sister Hilary Williams, 43.

Hilary Williams was behind the wheel and was seriously injured while Holly was forced to cancel her upcoming tour at the time. According to an interview with Hilary in The Tennessean in 2018, the car crash occurred when Hilary glanced at her iPod right before one of her tires slid into a rut on Highway 61 in Mississippi. After enduring 23 surgeries, Hilary – also a country singer – wrote and released an album called My Lucky Scars.

Holly went on to heal and release new music as well. Her last album The Highway went to the top of the Billboard Heatseekers Chart in 2013. After enduring so much in the past, Holly Williams seems to be focused on the joy of raising her growing family. Announcing her pregnancy on Instagram back in August, she wrote: ‘I am most curious, awe-inspired, somewhat afraid, and deeply – deeply grateful – for this one, after so many roaring waves threatened to steal the shoreline.’
