Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield share funny video

They are set to return as hosts for the new series of Dancing On Ice, which will air on ITV in early January.

And Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield hinted their hosting style would be typically playful on Monday, as they released a hilarious trailer for the much-anticipated reboot. 

The duo, who are best known for fronting This Morning, are unable contain their laughter in the clip as they attempt to sing We Wish You A Merry Christmas to viewers.

The pair certainly dress up for the exciting launch in the video – with blonde beauty Holly, 36, showing off her figure in a slinky white gown.

Pulling into a high neck, the dress cinched in at the mother-of-three’ slim waist before extending into a fitted skirt, embellished with silver sequins on the side. 

Meanwhile Phil stood beside her in a typically slick grey suit, paired with a crisp white shirt and matching tie.

However, both embraced the festive spirit with their accessorises – with Holly adding playful reindeer ears and Phil glittery glasses, before both draped tinsel around their necks. 

Known for their light-hearted presenting style on This Morning, the pair then attempt to sing a rendition of We Wish You A Merry Christmas, ahead of the show’s launch in early January.

Yet things soon go awry when they are unable to stay in time, before Holly launches into her own version at a very high volume – leaving the pair in hysterical laughter.

Shared to Holly’s Instagram page, she simply wrote to her 2.9million followers: ‘Merry Christmas!’  

The hit TV duo are set to join forces again for the relaunch, which will hit screens on January 7 – after its contract was not renewed back in 2014 following eight successful seasons. 

The pair presented the show in its first six years – before Holly left in 2011, handing the reigns to Christine Lampard.

The latest series of the figure skate show will move from the famous Elstree studios to Bovingdon Airfields .

The famous location has featured in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.

Coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will sit on the panel as judges, along with Diversity’s Ashley Banjo and famous ‘Mr Nasty’ Jason Gardiner.

Contestants this year include Love Island’s Kem Cetinay, Bake Off winner Candice Brown, Hollyoaks’ Stephanie Waring, athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton and TV personality Donna Air.
