Holly Willoughby cracks up as she praises the BAFTA sausage during boozy backstage interview

Her nine-year stint on This Morning has been peppered with thinly veiled sexual innuendos, much to the amusement of co-host Phillip Schofield.

And Holly Willoughby was joined by her presenting partner while making her latest comment after accepting a BAFTA tribute for the long-running magazine show as it celebrates its 30th birthday.

Speaking to entertainment correspondent Roman Kemp backstage from the special event on Monday evening, Holly, 37, raised a laugh while suggestively talking about the event’s catering.

Here we go: Holly Willoughby added to her canon of sexual innuendos on Monday evening while chatting to entertainment correspondent Roman Kemp after accepting a BAFTA tribute on behalf of long-running magazine show This Morning

‘The BAFTA sausages, they are very posh,’ the mother of three admitted while holding a glass of champagne, just moments after tearfully accepting the award on behalf of This Morning in London’s Piccadilly.

‘They are discussed throughout the industry,’ interjected Phillip. ‘Obviously if you’ve never been to a do like this you’ve never tasted a BAFTA sausage.

Picking up the thread, Roman – the son of Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp and former Wham! vocalist Shirlie Holliman – added: ‘One you have a BAFTA sausage…’

To which Holly quickly responded: ‘… There’s no going back. I can confirm BAFTA has a lovely sausage.’

Cutting back to the This Morning studio after airing the segment, an amused Holly reflected: ‘And with that one line I will never be invited back, ever again.’

With the show’s 30-year anniversary celebrations continuing all week, the presenters watched amusing old footage of Phillip and former co-host Fern Britton struggling to contain their laughter while interviewing a man who made objects out of biscuits.

‘I could see you so hard trying not to laugh,’ Holly told Phillip, who wiped away tears of laughter after watching the footage back.

‘It’s one thing laughing about it, it’s another thing when the person you have to interview is right there,’ he added.

Holly’s latest double entendre comes after she admitted to wearing her new shoes during sex and ‘saucy games’ with her husband Dan Baldwin.

The presenter claimed it’s the ‘best way to break in new shoes’ and always wears them in the bedroom before taking them outside.

‘I love wearing new shoes during sex – and not just because it’s kinky,’ she told The Daily Star in an interview in 2009.

She added: ‘I’m not a foot fetishist or anything, and I do enjoy saucy games with my hubby, but I have found the best way to break in new shoes is to wear them during sex.

‘It’s become a sort of rule whenever I get a new pair of shoes. I always wear them in the bedroom – during the sex act – before I take them outside. Every girl loves a new pair of six-inch heels and I’m no different.’
