While football fans count down the hours until England face Croatia in Wednesday night’s World Cup semi-final, Holly Willougby and Phillip Schofield have recruited the talents of a pig to predict the match result.
And according to Marcus the psychic swine, England will beat their opposition and sail through to Sunday’s big final – much to the joy of Holly and Phil.
Watching via a video link from their London-based This Morning studio, the presenting duo eagerly waited as Marcus headed toward a pile of apples with England flags stuck into them in his pigsty in Derby.

Opting to avoid the other option – apples with Croatian flags in them – Marcus munched happily on the fruit, leaving Holly and Phil jumping in glee.
Holly – who looked summery in a crisp white dress – threw her arms up in the air and immediately chanted ‘Football’s Coming Home!’ clearly delighted with the prediction.
An elated Holly cried: ‘Yes! I love that little piggie!’
Marcus the mystic pig has thus far correctly foretold five prior results in the 2018 World Cup, boding well for England in their next match.

The micro pig is eight-years-old and is owned by Juliette Stevens from Heage, Derbyshire.
She recently said: ‘Mystic Marcus has so far never ever been wrong in his predictions of top sporting events, including Wimbledon and the football World Cup.
‘He has a lovely chilled out personality and has produced some lovely piglets.’
Claiming that his predictions are ‘very scientific’, Juliette has insisted the apples are identical so as not to sway the swine.
‘I get two apples, the same variety, size and colour. It’s very strict,’ she explained.
Marcus appeared on This Morning previously and predicted correctly that England would win against Colombia on July 3.
