Holly Willoughby was left in tears during Tuesday’s episode of Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof after Tamzin Outhwaite suffered a head injury under the ice.   

The gruelling BBC show follows a group of celebrities navigating challenges in the Italian mountains in sub-zero conditions. 

Tamzin, 51, had bravely submerged into ice-cold water but sustained a head injury as she came up for air.

Presenter Holly, 41, noticed immediately and shouted: ‘She hit her head, she hit her head!’

On her emergence from the ice, a shaken-up Tamzin said: ‘Banged my head, I’m getting out.’

A concerned Holly rushed to console the actress, who was left with a noticeable bump.

When Tamzin said she might need to sit down, Holly reassured: ”I know I feel like that too, we’re going to get you checked out, okay and just make sure everything is okay.’ 

The star was then escorted off by the medics, when an emotional Holly could be heard crying. 

To co-host Lee Mack, she admitted: ‘It’s just so scary’.

Medics later gave Tamzin the go-ahead to continue with the series.

In a season contrast on Monday, Holly was looking ahead to the summer as she posed in the sun while modelling for M&S.

The This Morning host donned a blue long-sleeved mini dress that featured a white floral print and a high collar.

The garment also featured a pleated detail, while Holly also posed for a stunning fresh-faced snap she shared to her Instagram Stories.
