Holly Willoughby’s fans have leapt to her defence amid frenzied reports over who will care for her children when she co-hosts I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! with Declan Donnelly.
The 37-year-old presenter will be heading to Australia for a month in mid-November as a temporary replacement for Ant McPartlin, leading a host of media outlets and fans to speculate about whether her three children will be joining her down under.
However, fans of the This Morning host have taken to social media in their droves to question why Holly – who has Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and three-year-old Chester with her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin – has been subjected to such criticism.

Taking to Twitter, fans wrote: ‘I agree especially as one of our most awesome female UK TV presenters @hollywills was the subject of an article as she got a job on one of our most popular shows in Australia asking what would happen to her kids. Horrendous double standards’.
‘Get a bl**dy grip they’ll be locked in the cupboard under the stairs of course non of us mothers think about where the kids are when we go out work or otherwise #HollyWilloughby #ImACeleb #childminderwanted grasping at a non story back off’.
‘Disappointed but not surprised at all the “what about her kids?” Comments in regards to Holly Willoughby co-hosting I’m A Celeb. Not like her day job is… presenting TV.’
‘What’ll she do with her kids? What beauty products will she take? If @hollywills was a bloke, there’d be noone asking these burning questions #ImACeleb’.

Holly confirmed that she would take over Ant McPartlin’s role on I’m A Celebrity in a statement on Wednesday, in which she gushed:‘I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure…
‘I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery. These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit…
‘Honestly, I’m a huge fan of I’m a Celebrity and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show! When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves?!’

Declan meanwhile said: ‘I am hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year. She was at the top of my list and I’m thrilled she said yes…
‘It will be a different kind of series but we will try our best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers…
‘I am also pleased to hear Holly is scared of everything. I am almost stupidly excited at the thought of watching her during the eating trials!’
ITV’s Director of TV, Kevin Lygo added: ‘Holly is a brilliant presenter with a wicked sense of humour who has always enjoyed a great friendship and rapport with Ant and Dec – I have no doubt she will take to Jungle life, if not the critters, really quickly.’
Little is known of Holly’s salary, yet her pay packet hit headlines last year when it was alleged that her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield was paid £200,000 more. Following this, it was claimed she then received a pay rise last year.
Ant and Dec reportedly earn £483,000 each to present the series, yet Holly’s signing wage is unknown. MailOnline has contacted Holly’s representatives for comment.
