Hollyoaks have headed to the real-life Brighton beach to film the emotional episode, as Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) and Peri (Ruby O’Donnell) seek an escape from her gruelling treatment.

The pair will share a heartbreaking exchange while sat on the beach together, sparking fears among fans that Juliet may be losing her cancer battle.

Last week, viewers witnessed the devastating moment that Juliet was told her treatment wasn’t working and the more aggressive methods would require more sessions then she had previously.

Juliet originally told her loved ones that her treatment had been successful, but Peri quickly realised that something was wrong.

She rushed to support Juliet as she broke down in tears, as she admitted there was a chance that the aggressive treatment might not work.

Peri and Juliet decided that it wasn’t the right time for them to get back together, though the nurse vowed to support her ex through her battle with the disease.

Later, Juliet failed to meet Peri at The Love Boat, and it was revealed she had fled the village to go and visit her friend Imran at his eating disorder treatment centre.

Returning home, Juliet insisted to her family that she was ready to fight the disease, but could things get worse for her?

This is the first time that Hollyoaks has filmed on-location scenes since they headed to Majorca last year for a special series of episodes, culminating in Luke Morgan’s tragic death, and Gary Lucy’s exit from the soap.
