Home and Away’s Lynne McGranger shares shocking image of bloodied and bruised face

Lynne McGranger left her 194,000 followers in shock on Tuesday evening when she shared a bloodied and bruised image of her face. 

In the picture, the beloved Home and Away star, 70, looks worse for wear, with visible grazes on her nose, right cheek and chin – and nasty, deeps cuts on her lips. 

McGranger also shared another image to Instagram prior to her accident, where the veteran actor is seen smiling with her son-in-law’s mother with a black dog in her lap.

Alongside the pictures, the soap star explained what happened.

‘One minute walking your daughter and son-in-law’s dog with your MOG (mother of the groom) Nek minit you’ve face planted the road,’ she wrote.

Lynne’s post was soon inundated with concerned fans.

‘Lynnie darling… sh*t… I hope you’re ok,’ wrote one alarmed follower.

‘Hope you have a quick recovery,’ added another.

‘Oh no! I thought it was makeup. Look after yourself, Lynne,’ wrote a third.

‘Damn, that looks pretty badass! Hope you’re all good though Lynne,’ added Home and Away star Ethan Browne.

Meanwhile, her son-in-law’s mother was quick to dispel any wrongdoing.

‘And I promise I didn’t trip or push her. Poor love, it wasn’t a good sight,’ she wrote.

Lynne soon saw the funny side of the comment, replying with multiple laughing emojis.
