A popular foodie has revealed how to freeze herbs so they are on hand whenever you need them – and it is guaranteed to save your kitchen waste.

The seedandsproutco Instagrammer shared her herb freezing hack recently revealing anyone can achieve great results following the steps.

First the woman washes her herbs before placing the fresh leaves into large ice cube containers.

She then tops each of the silicon sections up with olive oil and pops them in the freezer.

Once frozen the yellow ice cubes are places in a freezer safe container.

‘Reheat them and use them as a base for your next meal,’ she said.

The foodie uses rosemary and basil in her demonstration  exciting her fans.

‘Love this so much,’ one woman said – with dozens of others echoing the sentiment.
