Fans packed the parking lots at MetLife Stadium hours before kickoff – but not just because of the game between the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Instead, fans of Taylor Swift flocked to tailgate at the same stadium the pop star rocked for three-nights during her Eras Tour back in May.
Now, with the latest development in Swift’s life being her whirlwind romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, ‘Swifties’ began to pack the stadium for a chance to see her.
Images from the tailgates outside the lot show fans dressed up as Ms. Swift as well as others in various Kelce-Swift related merch.
It all leads up to Sunday Night Football – where Kelce hopes to lead the Chiefs over the hapless Jets.

One group of fans spotted before the game flew a flag saying ‘Taylor Swift 2024: Save America Again’.
Others went dressed as Swift herself – with one borderline cosplaying as the pop star from her ‘Red’ era.
Some fans seemed to brag about knowing Kelce’s greatness before he dating the ‘Fearless’ singer.
One wore a jacket that said, ‘Travis Kelce I Knew You Before Taylor’ while another wore a t-shirt which read ‘I’ve been in my Travis Kelce era’.
Once fans went inside the stadium, more pictures began to trickle out of signs directed at the Chiefs tight end. One woman held a sign with words meant to emulate Swift’s hit song ‘You Belong With Me’.

Swift arrived at the game just minutes before kickoff – bringing along a select posse of celebrities.
These included Hollywood stars Sophie Turner, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds among others.
Swift was also seen speaking to injured Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is a self-admitted fan of the singer.
NBC, who was broadcasting the game, leaned into her appearance in the pre-game show with multiple hosts dropping references to Swift and her music.
They even got the cast of The Voice to tape a special pre-game tease about the latest hype surrounding Swift and Kelce’s relationship.
