Appearing on Seven News three years ago, Ms Subeska gave her opinion on the infamous brawl between James Packer and David Gyngell.

‘I don’t think they will ever be changed with this offence,’ she said, not realising she too would one day find herself charged with affray after a fight filmed in public.

In January she opened up about about her experience representing dead ISIS fighter Khaled Sharrouf and how their relationship turned ugly.

‘You need a thick skin to be in this game,’ she told The Sunday Telegraph.

The Sydney criminal turned terrorist threatened Ms Subeska when she provided legal advice he disliked, she said, but that was just part of the job.

‘If you’re going to be concerned about every single thing that happens you have no business doing it,’ she said.

Threats from Sharrouf did not deter Ms Subeska, and she has since represented Joshua Baines, who was charged over the 2016 murder of Sydney gangster Pasquale Barbaro.
