Horror as man in his 20s is attacked by a massive four-metre shark at a popular surfing spot
A man in his twenties has been attacked by a shark at a popular surfing beach in the south-west of Western Australia.
Emergency services were called to Bunker Bay beach in Naturaliste, north of Margaret River, just after 2pm on Friday.
WA Police confirmed a helicopter was sent to the popular surfing spot and a man believed to be in his twenties was brought to shore with injuries to his leg.

The extent of the man’s injuries are not yet known and he has been airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
A Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development statement said they were investigating the attack.
‘Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development are currently investigating a possible shark bite incident at Bunker Bay in the City of Busselton.
‘DPIRD is working with local authorities and further information will be provided as it becomes available.
‘Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is working with local authorities to coordinate responses,’ the statement read.
