A worker has fallen to his death at a construction site in western Sydney in a horrific workplace casualty.
The 52-year-old man was reportedly abseiling at the worksite when he fell just after midday on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to Northumberland street in Liverpool at 12:30 after reports a man had fallen.
The man died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
WorkCover and local police have launched an investigation into the death, with a report to be prepared for the coroner.
