A man has died after falling to his death from the 750 feet tall Deutsche Bank Center roof before plunging through the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

The unnamed man was sliced in half before hitting the busy New York pavement outside the apartment complex where Jay-Z and Tom Brady own apartments. 

The incident occurred at the prestigious 80 Columbus Circle address in Midtown at 9:06pm according to police and witnesses. 

‘The marquee cut him in half,’ a building employee told New York Daily News.

A police officer at the scene told the Daily News that the man was wearing pajama bottoms, a print T-shirt and slippers.

The New York Police Department told DailyMail.com that the victim’s identity was not known and that the investigation is still ongoing.
