An employee at Gulf Coast Hospital in Florida has been arrested for sucking a patient’s toes.

Frantz Beldorin, 23, is being charged with battery on a person 65 years of age or older, according to NBC2 in Fort Myers, Florida.

The patient said she felt someone licking her feet three times. When she looked up, she said she saw Beldorin kneeling with his head hovering of her foot.

The patient said at first she thought the person touching her right foot was just a nurse checking for swelling.

When she realized what was going on, she quickly pulled her foot away.

Beldorin then retreated to his seat in a corner of the room.

‘It makes me look crazy or creepy and I’m not! Like I’m not that type of dude,’ Beldorin told NBC2.

Beldorin had been assigned to sit in a chair and watch after the patient’s roommate who was considered a flight risk, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

The patient said Beldorin then stood up, peeked around the curtain that divided both beds, and asked the patient if she was okay, the report read.

The patient finally called for the nurse who then called security. After police, arrived, Beldorin was arrested.

But he claims the incident is just one big mistake.

‘I dropped my phone under the bed. I’m trying to get my phone and she kicks,’ Beldorin said.

He added: ‘She’s afraid and we’re in the dark. It’s a dark room with a dark male at the foot of her bed. I can understand.’

Beldorin had worked at the hospital for four years before he was fired for this incident.

Now he’s worried a felony conviction would keep him from getting other employment.

He has denied the claim and said two other patients were in the room at the time of the incident.

Beldorin was released Wednesday on a $1,500 bond. He now has to wear an ankle monitor as he awaits his March 30 trial.

Lee Health, which operates the hospital, released a statement confirming it is working with law enforcement, but it couldn’t comment further because the case is under investigation.
