For guests who can’t hack a night outside, the glamping experience comes with access to a two-bedroom suite.

The hotel told MailOnline Travel that it has already taken a number of bookings for its cosmopolitan camping experience.

The quirky concept first launched last year and quickly made headlines in the U.S. Although the offering is the same this time around, the food menu has changed slightly.

Explaining how the camping idea came about, general manager Michael Ditterline said: ‘Recognizing the popularity of glamping, we thought, “Why can’t we do that?” We drew inspiration from festivals such as Coachella to get the look and feel.

‘We were also focused on making it an overall entertaining experience – not just a sleeping experience – hence the fire pit, lounge seating, lanterns and soft lighting.’

The Gwen Lux Suite standalone rate is $3,500 (£2,700), with the additional glamping package costing $2,000 (£1,500).
