House of Gucci trailer reveals first footage of Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani

After unveiling a series of character posters, MGM and United Artists Releasing have debuted the first trailer for House of Gucci, with the first look at Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani.

The film is based on the true story of Reggiani orchestrating the assassination of her husband, former Gucci fashion brand head Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver).

Gaga, who won an Oscar for her first film role in A Star Is Born, unveiled the trailer on her official Instagram on Thursday afternoon, along with MGM’s YouTube, just a day after the character posters dropped.

The trailer begins with a fashionable Patrizia walking down an Italian sidewalk, lowering her sunglasses, looking at the Gucci store.

We get a new look at Adam Driver’s Maurizio Gucci, as Patrizia adds, ‘But that name was a curse too,’ as she’s seen looking at a photograph of Maurizio in a car.
