Householder returns fire ‘after drive-by shooting’ on a suburban street as terrified neighbour yells ‘they killed this man outside my house’

- Miraculously as shots are fired at the man no one is injured rushing inside
A drive-by shooting that is believed to have happened in Chicago has been captured from two different perspectives.
In one clip the passenger side door of a white SUV quickly shuts before the vehicle slowly makes it’s way down the block before three shots ring out.
Briefly the front door opens and woman’s voice can be heard saying ‘They just shot this man in front of my house, they killed this man in front of my house.’
No body can be seen but she quickly returns inside the house, retreating to safety for a potential follow up.
In a different clip a man and a woman can be seen rushing down the steps of their front porch out towards SUV which appears in the lower left corner of the video before disappearing from view.
The man is topless and carries a hand gun with him which he points in the direction that the car drove off.
Suddenly both run back into the house as stray bullets can be seen impacting in the front terrace outside the house’s windows.
The man can be heard asking if the woman is shot, when she rel=plies that she hasn’t been he returns outside, taking cover in the porch awning, prepared to return fire down the street.

In Chicago gun crime has been a significant issue for years with 1651 shootings in the city since the start of 2019. 301 of those have resulted in the death of a person.
Of all the shootings resulting in death or injury that have taken place this year, only 12 of them were deemed to have been done in self-defense.
In July 2013 it was made legal to carry a concealed hand gun on the streets of Chicago as long as the carrier was issued a permit to do so.
