How a lunchtime KFC menu hack can bag you nearly £4 worth of food for just £1.99 on any day of the week – as long as you order before 3pm

  • Money-saving tactic was shared on Hot Deals UK, sending fast food fans wild

Fried chicken fans are going clucking crazy over a money-saving menu hack which enables you to get £3.77 worth of food for just £1.99.

The lunchtime deal saves customers £1.78 when they order a mini fillet burger, two chicken hot wings and a regular fries as a side.

Usually a mini fillet burger costs £1.49, two hot wings are 99p and a regular fries will set you back £1.20.

But all three items are on offer for £1.99 on any day of the week – provided you order before 3pm.

The special offer was discovered on Hot Deals UK, with the eagle-eyed customer who posted it dubbing it the ‘perfect lunch option’.

As long as you place your order before 3pm, the deal should be automatically applied at the till.

The best thing is it’s not a limited offer, meaning you can enjoy it for the foreseeable future – though how much of a deal it is is subject to participating restaurants.

Out of the 870 KFC branches in the UK, 95 per cent are franchised, meaning prices can vary as each store is at liberty to set its own charges.

The cost of the three deal items remains £1.99 at all participating stores regardless of how much they are at full price, so the only thing that differs is how much money you save.

If you want a drink you’ll have to pay extra on top; a medium-sized fizzy beverage will add an extra 99p to your bill.

It’s also worth checking before you order that the restaurant you’re dining in is taking part in the offer.

Since the deal was shared online, many KFC fans have admitted it’s left their mouths watering.
