How Bec Judd spent five MONTHS transforming $7.3m mansion into Coachella

Rebecca Judd and husband Chris transformed their $7.3 million Melbourne mansion into Coachella festival on Saturday for their ‘Juddchella’ housewarming party. 

And Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Bec spent five months organising the event, after enlisting the help of one of Australia’s top party planners and a team of experts to recreate the annual gathering that’s set in the Colorado Desert, in California. 

‘[Bec] first emailed me around June saying she wants to bring Coachella to life,’ said Elleni Pearce, founding director of Lenzo, who brought the star’s vision to life. 

Ms Pearce added that Bec’s only brief was to recreate Coachella, and praised her for being so ‘easy going’ as they created mood boards and starting planning in August.

‘Bec is one of the best clients to deal with, trusting and easy going. She just said she wanted it to be epic, and she loved the party,’ added Ms Pearce. 

The planner explained that the most difficult part of puling off what was possibly Melbourne’s biggest ever housewarming party was ‘keeping things fresh’.

She said: ‘It is challenging creating something that hasn’t been seen before, and is still magical on that scale and magnitude.’

For the party, an army of different companies and experts came together to create ‘California valley vibes’ across what is usually the couple’s tennis court. 

The event was bursting with colour, featuring glitter photo walls, bright furniture, bulb fairy lights, and a designated dance floor with DJ booth. 

One of the most impressive elements came from florist and stylist Poppy Culture, who decorated the space with thousands of carefully arranged flowers.

The florist used artificial flowers on the base as a more sustainable solution, before then overlaying thousands or roses to create jaw-dropping arrangements.

In stunning pictures captured by Hugh Davies Photography for Lenzo, the Spanish Colonial style property looked world’s away from Melbourne’s Brighton.

Attendees partied from 2pm until 10:30pm, while dancing to music from local DJs. 

Celebrities and WAGS including Nadia Bartel, Kylie Brown and Jessie Murphy completed the star-studded guest list.

A tarot card reader was also available for those who wanted to look into their future.

At the party, Bec debuted candy-coloured tresses and flaunted her slim figure in an elaborate two-piece ensemble.

The mother-of-four made a show-stopping appearance in a reflective sheer skirt with vibrant pink briefs and a gold waistband.

She boosted her height with a pair of lace-up booties and completed the look with a striking make-up palette which included bold brows and a false set of lashes.

Bec and Chris, who have four children, purchased the Spanish Colonial property in Melbourne’s affluent coastal suburb, Brighton, in 2018.

They have been documenting their lengthy renovation ever since, and have spared no expense on their new home.

Earlier in the renovations, Bec spoke of her disappointment after learning her Range Rover was too big to fit in the garage, which cost $50,000 to rectify.
