The wife of notorious Melbourne underworld figure Carl Williams is no stranger to court appearances.
In addition to supporting her gang member husband as he battled numerous charges, Roberta Williams also fronted in relation to her own cases.
The latest saw her fighting the Australian Tax Office’s demands that her million-dollar home be sold in order to pay back large debts owed by Carl’s father George, a battle she ultimately lost last week.
Roberta has adopted a number of different and colourful looks over the years when appearing in court – including beanies, ‘not guilty’ T-shirts and colourful sneakers.

At Carl Williams’ sentencing hearing the same month, she wore a yellow beanie with a blue and white jacket, jeans and yellow sneakers.
In May, Roberta wore a white Lonsdale beanie to another sentencing at Melbourne County Court.
In 2008, Roberta faced court on tax evasion charges, accused of failing to lodge a tax return between 1998 and 2006.
