The mum removed the Queen Anne styled legs from the vanity before painting it white.
She also removed the drawer and doors from the centre of the unit but left the side doors in place.
The cabinet was dressed white Christmas stockings and Scandinavian-style tree and reindeer decorations.
It also tied in nicely with the young woman’s Christmas tree which was blasted with fake snow and covered with white and silver baubles.
The mum posted the fake fireplace in a Christmas Mums Facebook Page and it immediately resonated with her audience.
‘This is very clever, well done, I love it,’ one woman cooed.

Others said they ‘never would have thought to use an old cupboard’ for a Christmas project.
‘It is absolutely Brilliant,’ said another.
While others commented on how beautifully it tied in with her other decorations.
