How to Get Taller Fast – Increase Your Height & Grow Tall After 18

We’ve all been there.  Puberty.  It’s not a lot of fun but, oftentimes, growing taller is one of the main changes our body begin to make during puberty.  If you want to grow taller even after puberty though, try and follow these five easy tips!

You are what you eat.

Eating right during and after puberty can help you continue to grow taller.  If you eat right, your body gets the nutrition it needs and therefore, you can continue to grow!  A balanced diet helps the hormones in your body continue to be replenished and then push your body to grow taller and stronger!  Be sure to get plenty of Calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin B1, Zinc and Phosphorus.

Exercise

You don’t have to do things like run marathons or swim across the Atlantic but doing exercises, on a daily basis that stretch your muscles will help you continue to grow.  Even doing simple things like skipping or yoga can increase your height!  Furthermore, partaking in sports, even for a hobby or pastime can get those muscles stretched out and help your body stay fit.  Simply being active, working up a sweat and using your muscles can assist in your growth process.

Sleep

It might seem a little bit too simple, but it is, in fact, true that adequate sleep is necessary for your growth.  This is because the growth hormone that is directly responsible for your growth (in terms of height) is produced while you sleep.  Did you know that?  If not, you do now, and sleep should be an important priority.  On average, 8-10 hours is ideal.

Water is the key to life…or height?

Again, it probably seems a little bit too simple, but it is, nonetheless, true!  Water is incredibly important if you’re looking to grow taller, even after puberty.  On average, a minimum of 8 glasses of water on a daily basis will flush all the toxins from your body and activate your metabolism.  Having a faster metabolism will help your body be healthy and grow faster!  Try things like carrying a water bottle around with you to school to make sure you get enough water throughout the day.

Keep the “good” in and the “bad” out.

Seems simple enough but it’s easier said than done, right?  Things that have been listed above are necessary when it comes to staying healthy and growing taller, but you also have to steer clear of things like smoking and drinking.  Smoking and drinking add a lot of unhealthy, sometimes dangerous toxins to your body and can be very detrimental to your overall health.  Simply put, these tendencies cause a lot of harm to your body and mind and have been known to stunt people’s growth.

If you practice these five easy and straight forward steps, on a daily basis, throughout and after puberty, your chances are growing taller are defiantly increased!  Remember to stay hydrated, eat well, stay active, get plenty of sleep and stay away from toxins like drinking and you’re on your way to being taller and taller!  Good luck!
