How to get your hands on 50c McDonald’s cheeseburgers for one day only

McDonald’s is offering its most loyal customers 50c cheeseburgers on Thursday to celebrate the launch of their points program.

The fast-food chain will be giving the discount to the first 350,000 people to order the popular menu staple from their app on Thursday.

The deal is limited to one per customer and is only available on the MyMaccas app.

It coincides with the launch of the restaurant’s loyalty program last month where customers are given 100 points for every dollar they spend in store.

These points can later be cashed in for popular menu items.

McDonald’s Marketing Manager Tobi Fukushima says the rush on 50c cheeseburgers is part of the store’s commitment to provide ‘great value food’ to their customers.

‘This is another way we are showing customers that value means more at Macca’s, by rewarding them for their loyalty while offering some of their favourite menu items for less,’ he said of the discounted menu item.

Customers who use the MyMaccas app are treated to frequent deals including 20 per cent off and discounted meals. 

The offer is limited to one cheeseburger per customer for the first 350,000 customers across Australia on the day

These discounts are available for limited times and are found on the home screen of the app. 

The 50c cheeseburger is only available in store and through drivethru. Customers using McDelivery are not able to redeem the offer. 

The offer is available across Australia on April 6 for the first 350,000 customers.
