They may be able to suggest cuts and other improvements that could have a dramatic change for the company. Taking new perspectives on board is always going to be a good move.

It is also worth considering that these cuts are likely to affect them as employees more than you as a manager. Therefore, it is important that you take their feedback on board simply because they are going to be the ones affected the most by what you have planned. If the proposed cuts are going to disrupt their working day too much, it is going to be time to look for another plan.

You need to make sure that the expenses of the business are not eating into your revenue too much, that is understandable. However, you also need to make sure that you are not making cuts for the sake of it. Try your best to find solutions that will work around what you already have planned.
