The Australian star and Hollywood heavyweight, 50, was left shocked and overjoyed on Sunday, as he won the coveted gong for the musical film, The Greatest Showman.
While unable to attend the ceremony, which was held in Los Angeles in the US, the Wolverine star shared a video of himself watching the ceremony on a laptop with friends.

The Greatest Showman won the Grammy for Best Compilation soundtrack for visual media.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Hugh shared a video of himself watching the moment the film won the award at the ceremony.

After The Greatest Showman was called out, Hugh cheered and said ‘yay!’
His friends and family around him could be heard clapping and cheering beside him.
He captioned part of the clip saying the award goes to ‘the entire cast and crew.’
