‘By the time I touch down in Australia I’ll be another year old,’ Hugh said, with the star being based in Los Angeles.

Last week, Hugh proved he wasn’t shy when he stripped down to a pair of shorts, flaunting his muscular back and biceps.

Taking full advantage of the Californian summer, Hugh showed a playful side as he lifted his cap in the air while admiring the city view.

Proving he’s no House Husband, Hugh’s lean frame set off a slew of reactions from his near 80,000 followers on Instagram.

‘Now that’s a back,’ one fan gushed.

Hugh told BW magazine in May the real reason he left his Logie-winning career Down Under to became a nightclub jazz singer.

‘I moved there to pursue music. The main thing I didn’t want people to think was that I was an actor giving singing a shot,’ he said.

The heartthrob has gone on to lead the California Crooners Club with bandmates Emile Welman and Gabe Roland.
