Human remains have been found 300km from where a woman went missing.

The 31-year-old woman from Canadian in Victoria was last seen about 6.30am on 17 February at her home.

Detectives found human remains some 300km east in Nambrok on Tuesday morning. They are yet to be identified.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman after raiding a home in Phair Court, Altona on Monday evening.

Both are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The missing woman moved to Canadian, a suburb of Ballarat, only two weeks ago, reported the Herald Sun.

Neighbours said they saw moving vans outside the front of the house.
