Hundreds of Aussies have lined up in crisp winter temperatures for a burger from American fast food chain In-N-Out, who are serving their iconic meals for one day only Down Under.

The iconic US establishment is hosting a pop-up store in Sydney’s East Village that will run from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday, so there are still a few hours to get your hands on the chips and burger combos.

The pop up store will be serving Double-Double burgers, which are made up of ‘double meat and double cheese’, for $8 alongside Animal Style burgers and Protein Style burgers.

Cheeseburgers will set customers back by $6 and hamburgers are $5.

On top of the chain’s regular dining options Sydneysiders can also purchase potato chips for $2, a medium drink for $2 – either a Coke or Diet Coke – a hat for $8 or a t-shirt for $8.

Instagram foodie ‘Isaac Eats A Lot’ was the first person in the line to receive his burger, purchasing crisps and a large hamburger.

Foodfluencer ‘Big City Mick’ took a video of the lengthy lines outside East Village before joining it himself for a taste.

‘After a short line-up with other hungry foodies, I was at the counter and for $20 I got the Double-Double, chips, a coke and a t-shirt,’ he said.

‘Good flavour and overall a nice burger which I would 100 per cent smash again, minus the pickles.

‘Nice work for bringing an American moderate speed burger franchise to our Sydney scene.’

An announcement about the chain visiting Sydney was revealed on the burger chain’s official Instagram page on Tuesday.

The announcement included an In-N-Out poster with all the details of the pop-up store tomorrow and what’s available for purchase.
