Police are hunting for a heartless cat thief who stole a munchkin cat named Rushka who has dwarfism.
The beloved pet was stolen from his family’s home in Maryborough, Queensland.
He was snatched from the house sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Police hope he’ll be found as the ginger cat is easily recognisable due to his genetic mutation, which means he has unusually short legs.
Rushka’s owner Janet McAarthur had put him in his pen before going to bed, but the next morning they discovered someone had unlocked it and catnapped him.
Ms McArthur told Daily Mail Australia that she is begging for her beloved pet to be safely returned.
‘He is my baby and I am devastated someone took him. He is very sweet and loving, and I miss his cuddles and his sweet nature,’ she said.
Ms McArthur said Rushka has been her companion through her battle with the rare cancer chondrosarcoma, and said she can’t imagine her life without him.
The two-year-old pet cat is microchipped and went missing from the Maryborough Cinema.
