Police are hunting for two men in connection with the disappearance of a young woman who went missing from a Boston bar.

Olivia ‘Liviy’ Ambrose, 23, was last seen around 11 pm Saturday leaving Hennessy’s bar at 25 Union Street in Boston, according to a Facebook page set up to find her.

Boston Police Department claim Olivia left the bar with man who is not connected with her disappearance.

Around 40 minutes later at 11.50pm, two unidentified men are observed inviting Ambrose to walk with them in the area of Congress Street and State Street.

One of the men walked ahead of her while the other man places his arm around her and directs her towards the State Street subway station.

In a statement Boston Police Department said: ‘Approximately 20 minutes later, additional video shows Ms. Ambrose being accompanied by that same male, still with his arm around her, exiting the Bunker Hill Community MBTA Station in Charlestown.

‘The other male party is no longer observed in any surveillance video moving forward.’

Cops said that at around 12.13am, Ambrose and the man are spotted again walking together towards Bartlett Street.

They claimed phone records indicate Ms. Ambrose’s phone was in the general area of the Bunker Hill Housing Development a short time later.

Olivia’s twin sister Francesca said Olivia left Hennessy’s with an unidentified male  – a claim supported by CCTV which captured the pair together.

The man reportedly purchased drinks with his credit card and the family said they are working with the bar to see if they can help identify him.

Francesca Ambrose told CBS Boston:  ‘At some point she went to the bathroom, came back and met the guy, and they were talking for a while and eventually they left together.

‘He was literally like behind us while we were dancing on the dance floor.’

Olivia Ambrose is a college graduate who moved to Jamaica Plain a week ago, according to her family.

She had been dancing with a man who is said to be her own age. ‘The guy who she was with was the one who got kicked out of the bar and that she left with at about 11.04 pm,’ Francesca added.

Security cameras show Olivia and the man walking across Union Street.

She was out with her twin sister and a large group of friends. Her family said she always calls and texts and had an appointment Monday that she missed which is unusual.

The family have shared CCTV footage of the male on the Facebook page.
