Hunter Biden comes to child support agreement with Arkansas baby mama

Hunter Biden has come to an agreement with his Arkansas baby mama on child support, according to new court documents filed on Monday.

The 49-year-old and Lunden Roberts, 28, finally hashed out the terms, and Biden will pay an undisclosed amount each month for their 17-month-old child starting on February 1.

As part of the agreement, Biden has to retroactively pay support from November 2018, meaning he’ll have to cough up 14 months worth of payment by March 1.

He will also have to pay Roberts’ legal fees and costs, according to the Independence County court documents.

Although Biden was ordered to show up at court on Wednesday, that is now off the table because he and Roberts were able to come to an agreement.

However, he will still have to show why he shouldn’t be held in contempt for allegedly not turning over his financial records to Roberts’ legal team.

The next hearing for the case is scheduled for March 13.

The agreement will likely be seen as a win for Roberts, who has been fighting Biden for child support and to foot her legal bill.

Roberts, who met Biden while working as a stripper in Washington D.C., had been demanding her former lover to turn over the past five years of his financial records to establish how much he should pay in support.

The agreed upon amount has been redacted from the court filing, but the court noted that because it ‘lacks sufficient information to determine child support based off the defendant’s income… it reserves judgement on temporary child support and final child support until after adequate discovery is completed and relevant evidence is available for a child support determination.’

It adds: ‘The Court specifically reserves the right to retroactively amend or modify child support without the need for the filing of a proper motion by either party to modify support.

‘If the evidence indicates that the defendant should have paid more in support than the amount set forth in this Order, the Court may order that he pay an additional amount after reviving credit for what he has paid.’

The agreement is also a slight win for Biden, who had been trying to get out of traveling to Arkansas.

He has repeatedly skirted court appearances, saying he didn’t have enough time to prepare for a trip, and had requested in the past to appear via telephone.

Still, he has to present evidence why he shouldn’t be held in contempt by March 1, after Roberts’ legal team demanded for it last week, saying he hadn’t turned over court-ordered evidence of his financial records.

Her team referred to a previous court order that said both parties must submit all documents pertaining to discovery no later than January 16.

They claimed he ‘failed to provide any additional discovery information of any nature,’ saying: ‘Biden continues to act as though he has no respect for this Court, its orders, the legal process in this state, or the needs of his child for support.

‘This Court should take some action that will make the defendant follow court orders and a believer in the rule of law.’

Last week, DailyMail.com revealed Biden had been ‘hunkered down’ inside his Hollywood Hills home ‘prepping’ in case he’s called as a witness in the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump.

Biden, who is at the center of the trial over his business links to the Ukraine, is said to be taking ‘no chances’ over the looming prospect of being called to testify in Washington D.C. and wants to be fully prepared.

A source close to the Bidens told DailyMail.com: ‘Hunter is taking no chances, he knows that he could get called as a witness any day so he wants to be fully prepared, he’s going over every fine detail.

‘He’s been keeping low for a while ever since Trump decided to start attacking him, but for the past week or so he has asked to be left alone and isn’t taking visitors or too many calls.

‘He’s taking the trial very seriously and wants to make sure he’s ready for whatever the Republicans throw at him.’

Senate Republicans have warned Democrats that if witnesses are permitted in the impeachment trial they will call Hunter – who served on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma from 2014-2019.

The President himself has demanded that the 49-year-old be called as a witness in the trial.

Trump has also pushed for Senate Republicans to call the still-anonymous whistle-blower, whose report of the president’s July 25 phone call with President Zelesnky sparked the events that led to the impeachment inquiry.
