Hunters free two deer who got antlers tangled in Iowa

Several hunters came across an astonishing sight while hunting in Keosauqua, Iowa.

While out in the woods they ran into two deer entangled by their antlers, presumably from a brutal fight.

The men filmed the deer struggling to free themselves from their self-imposed trap. 

The animals ran back and forth in the brush but were unable to unlock their massive antlers.

The video shows one hunter stepping in and using a knife to try and set separate the two struggling bucks.

The man filming warns the other man to be careful, because after the deer are free they’re going to run and their antlers can be dangerous.

After a small struggle where the animals try and break free from him, the hunter manages to untangle the deer, who immediately bolt to safety on the road.

The deer were unharmed and the hunters kindly allowed them to continue on their way.
